Day 1: Barcelona
Arrive at the hotel in Barcelona. Free afternoon to rest and have the first contact with the city. Accommodation.
Day 2: Barcelona
Breakfast. In the morning we have a panoramic tour of the Ciudad Condal (City of the Count), visiting its main attractions and ending in the Las Ramblas area where we will have free time to stroll through the colourful La Boqueria Market and have lunch. In the afternoon we will have a gourmet walking tour of one of the most spectacular neighbourhoods in the city, the "Barrio Gótico", with a tasting of typical products. Rest of the day free. Day 3: Barcelona
Breakfast in the hotel. Today we will immerse ourselves in the frenetic life of the architect Antoni Gaudí through several of his most emblematic works in Barcelona. The first visit will be to Park Güell where we will see the Gaudí House-Museum. From here we will take a wonderful walk through the park discovering its features. After this visit we will go to the renowned Paseo de Gracia to admire the famous Casa Batlo and Casa La Pedrera and we will have free time for lunch. We will then visit the jewel of Gaudí's work, the Sagrada Familia (entrance fee included). Rest of the day free. Accommodation.
Day 4: Barcelona – Valencia
Breakfast. In the morning we depart for Valencia. Arrival and then take a city tour of its main attractions. Valencia is one of the main capitals along the Mediterranean coast with its modern City of Arts and Sciences composed of six buildings: Hemisfèric, Umbracle, Science Museum, Oceanogràfic, Palau de les Arts Opera House and Agora. Rest of the day free to stroll around the city. Accommodation.
Day 5: Valencia – Alicante – Granada
Breakfast. In the morning we depart for Alicante. Arrival and guided tour of the city, visiting its main attractions such as the port, La Rambla, the Santa Cruz neighbourhood and the esplanade, among others. We will enjoy some show cooking with a typical lunch where we can learn the secret of how to cook a good Alicante style rice. We then continue to Granada and the rest of the day is free. We recommend going for tapas on calle Elvira. Accommodation.
Day 6: Granada
Breakfast and at the indicated time we will visit the Alhambra, one of the wonders of the world and a rich treasure left by the Arabs after their long occupation of Spain. Lunch of Arabic food to transport us to their traditions. In the afternoon we will enjoy free time to take a stroll and see other sights that we cannot miss, such as the Royal Chapel, a temple that houses the mausoleum of the Catholic Monarchs, Juana la Loca and Felipe el Hermoso, the Albaicin neighbourhood and its narrow, steep streets that are home to numerous typical houses, called "Carmenes", the Sacromonte neighbourhood and Realejo, the old Jewish quarter. We recommend that you stop for some tea and Arabic pastries in one of the traditional tea shops. Accommodation.
Day 7: Granada – Nerja – Malaga
Breakfast in the hotel. Free morning in Granada. Those who wish can enjoy a relaxing Hammam Arab bath (optional). In the afternoon we will visit the famous Nerjacaves where we will be able to take part in an active tourism activity "kayak through the Cliffs of Maro-Cerro Gordo National Park" where we will discover countryside of extraordinary beauty and can take some lovely photographs as a memento of our holiday. At the end of the activity we will continue to Malaga. Accommodation.
Day 8: Malaga – Marbella – Malaga
Breakfast. In the morning we will go to Marbella where we will take a walk around the city and have free time for lunch in the famous Puerto Banús. In the afternoon we will return to Malaga where we will have free time to visit this thousand-year-old city, lively and welcoming with its many gardens and examples of Arabic architecture. Here we can admire, among many other monuments, the Alcazaba, Nazari Palace, Gibralfaro Castle and the Cathedral, best known for being unfinished, something which has earned it the nickname "La Manquita" which in English means "The One-Armed Lady". Day 9: Malaga – White Villages – Puerto de Santa María
Breakfast in the hotel. Today we will take a tour of the white villages, visiting several charming towns in the area including Ronda, one of the most beautiful cities in Andalusia. Here we will take a walk through the old town where we will be able to see Puente Nuevo bridge, Alameda de San Carlos park offering magnificent views of the Ronda mountain range and many more sights. We will continue to Puerto de Santa María, one of the most beautiful ports in Spain. Accommodation.
Day 10: Puerto de Santa María– Cadiz—San Lucar– Puerto S. María
Breakfast in the hotel, depart for Cadiz. The city of Cadiz is tradition, art, culture, history, friendly people, beaches and sun all year round and a gastronomy that, as people would say in Cadiz, takes your breath away. We will have a guided tour to discover every corner and enjoy a typical Cadiz lunch of fresh fish. Free afternoon and return to Puerto de Santa Maria.
Day 11: Puerto de Santa María—Jerez de la Frontera – Doñana—Seville
Breakfast. In the morning we depart for Jerez, land of horses, sherry and Flamenco, where we will enjoy a guided tour to see its main attractions. Lunch in a restaurant where we will enjoy a typical meal taken with sherry wine. In the afternoon we will visit the Doñana National Park to enjoy a desert experience, discovering this wonderful natural setting on the back of a camel. We will also taste some dates. We will continue to Seville. Accommodation.
Day 12: Seville
Breakfast in the hotel. At the indicated time our local guide will pick us up from the hotel for a tour of the city of Seville. We will begin with a panoramic bus tour of Plaza de España, the Costurero de la Reina building which today houses the tourist information office, the Torre del Oro watchtower and many other emblematic sites. We have lunch in the Santa Cruz neighbourhood. On finishing we will take a walking tour of this neighbourhood including the Cathedral, the Royal Palace (alcázar), General Archive of the Indies, etc. In the evening we will enjoy dinner in a traditional flamenco venue. Day 13: Seville – Cordoba – Toledo
Breakfast. In the morning, we will take a high-speed train to the city of Cordoba, an ancient city whose historic centre has been declared a World Heritage Site and that preserves the traces of the former splendour of the Caliphate of Cordoba. We will go on a guided tour to see its most emblematic monuments such as the Mosque Cathedral (entrance included), the symbol of the capital, the Synagogue and the Jewish Quarter, with its maze of narrow, whitewashed streets adorned with tiles. Free time for lunch. We continue our journey to Toledo. Arrival and rest of the day free to wander its narrow streets. In the evening traditional dinner where we will taste the dish of “Carcamusas" (pork and vegetable stew). Accommodation.
Day 14: Toledo—Madrid
Breakfast. Through an unconventional tour we will learn about the culture of this wonderful city, visiting the terraces and patios of Toledo. We will then depart for Madrid. In the afternoon we take a guided tour of the capital of the Kingdom of Spain, a city full of contrasts. With our local guide we will learn about Plaza de la Cibeles, Plaza de España and Plaza de Neptuno, Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía, Calle Mayor, see the outside of the Plaza de toros de las Ventas bullring and walk down calle Alcalá, Paseo del Prado, Paseo de la Castellana, etc. For the evening meal we have the avant-garde tapas tour of the Retiro neighbourhood. Day 15: Madrid
Breakfast in the hotel. Free day in Madrid to take a stroll through Retiro Park, visit one of the museums in the city or take a break in any of the many terraces that dot the city, enjoying the lively street life of Madrid and taking the opportunity to make some final purchases. Accommodation.
Day 16: Madrid – End of our services
